Learn to Skate Information
Yost Ice Arena's Learn to Skate program offers small student/instructor ratio, the area's top instructors and a fun, enjoyable fitness activity. Students learn techniques and fundamentals based on US Figure Skating guidelines, passing from level to level as skating improves. Program is designed for all ages and abilities!
When:	Sunday Sessions: 11am - 11:50am 12pm - 12:50pm Session 1: October 14, 2012 - December 9, 2012 (no class Nov. 25) *Ice show Sunday, December 9, with the University of Michigan Figure Skating Club Session 2: January 4, 2013 - February 24, 2013* Friday Session: 6pm - 6:50pm 7pm - 7:50pm Session 3: March 8 or 15, 2013 - April 19, 2013 start date contigent upon CCHA Playoffs Ice show Sunday April 7, 2013 Wednesday Sessions: 11am - 11:50am Session 1: October 10, 2012 - December 5, 2012 no class November 21 Ice show Sunday, December 9, with the University of Michigan Figure Skating Club Session 2: January 9, 2013 - February 27, 2013 Session 3: March 13, 2013 - April 17, 2013 Ice show Sunday, April 7, 2013
Registration & Fees:	Sunday Session 1: $88 Sunday Session 2: $88 Friday Session 3: $66 Wednesday Session 1: $88 Wednesday Session 2: $88 Wednesday Session 3: $66 *All students must be registered with US Figure Skating. Membership is only $12 for the entire year (July 1 - June 30). Please add $12 to your LTS registration if signing up for the first time this season and Yost will complete your registration process. Equipment:	Safety equipment and gloves are highly recommended for beginners Skate rental is FREE with paid registration Sizes range from children's shoe size 10 to adult 15.
